Stop The Drama (Day 22) by David Guerra

Day 22 of 100 Days of 100 Ways To Rule Your World

STOP THE DRAMA

It’s bad enough that our work days are filled with drama and depending on who we let into our lives the evenings can have just as much drama. Think about this: What does all that drama do to you?

Certainly, it does nothing good for you.

So stop creating your own drama and stop accepting drama from others as something that is “normal” and “expected”.

Once you stop creating or accepting drama you will start to see the world in a different way. Different in that what were small problems are no longer the things that bring your day to a grinding halt. Different in that you will start to feel less nervous about being around those people that drama is their middle name. Different in that you can start to live a more calm and relaxed life.

Note: if others find that they don’t want to respect you and your “no drama” policy then it is obviously time to find new people to hang out with.

Remember: YOU are who you hang out with.

Thank you,

Be Honest (Day 21) by David Guerra

Day 21 of 100 Days of 100 Ways To Rule Your World

BE HONEST

Consider this entry as part two of WALK THE TALK.

One sure fire way to Walk the Talk is to be honest. By being honest you have nothing to hide. You have only the truth (good or bad) to back you up.

As humans, we love taking the path of least resistance whenever we can. Sometimes that path leads people to lie. Lies can sometimes get people out of trouble but for the most part it is when people forget their lies that things go awry. That is because LIES can lead to confusion. Confusion leads to strained relationships. Strained relationships lead to TROUBLE.

Good or Bad, telling truth may hurt at first, but once you are telling the truth all the time your attitude will change in that you will stand for the truth because that is what you believe, all the time. You will demand others to tell you the truth because nothing else will be accepted. You’ll start to see the world a little different by living with accepting only the honest truth, no matter if it hurts or not.

Being honest, all the time, will do wonders for your reputation. Words like integrity, trustworthy, and ethical will become associated with you. Once you get that kind of association you are, most definitely, Walking the Talk!

Walk The Talk (Day 20) by David Guerra

Day 20 of 100 Days of 100 Ways To Rule Your World

WALK THE TALK

A lot of people “talk the talk”. A lot of people make some noises that come from the side of their neck. Yet, others manage to “walk the walk” but do so aimlessly. They meander through life with a chip on their shoulder and really truly believe that they fully understand why the chip is there or where they are going.

While there is nothing wrong with a little self-confidence when it comes to “walking the walk” but if it is all style and no substance then why bother?

If you can talk the talk and walk the walk then why can’t you Walk the Talk? It is truly unfortunately, there are so very few who actually WALK THE TALK! By this I mean that it sure is one thing to say something and do something but are you DOING what you are Saying? Are you doing as you say? In simpler terms are you leading by example? or are you nothing but filler? hot air? all fluff?

Pick one thing you TRULY believe in and stick to it. Make it your mantra. Make it the one objective in your life that all other considerations bend and weave towards. Then and ONLY then are you WALKING THE TALK.

Thank you,
