Day 24 of 100 Days of 100 Ways To Rule Your World

DO YOU HAVE A HOBBY?

Do you have a hobby? Yes, then you already know how relaxing having a hobby can be. If you don’t have one then it’s about time you got one. Coin Collecting, Table Tennis, Fishing, Skydiving, Hiking, Stamp Collecting, or Collecting Smurfs, well then as my good friend Gary Vaynerchuk once said, “THEN SMURF IT UP!

Find one hobby that you like. Pick it. Stick to it. Do it Regularly. Relax. De-Stress!!!

Thank you,

Don’t Be So Serious (Day 23) by David Guerra

Day 23 of 100 Days of 100 Ways To Rule Your World

DON’T BE SO SERIOUS

When we go around living at 100mph we tend to overlook the little things. We are moving way too fast to stop and smell the roses. If you like driving fast and always worrying about the impending crash then it is time to slow down.

Being serious all the time creates unnecessary stress. Stress, in general, complicates things. Unnecessary stress really complicates things. To minimize stress, especially unnecessary stress, you must do what you can to stop taking life so seriously!

Of course, life is serious but it is how we deal with the big things, as well as, the little things that make all the difference. Laughing at the little things is easy. Not letting EVERYTHING get to you is not so easy.

That’s why you need to take everything at face value. The big stuff is just that; the big stuff. The small stuff is the small stuff. Learn from both, good or bad, you have to take every opportunity to learn from everything that happens; good or bad, large or small.

Always learn from everything that happens and try not to repeat what you did, should things go wrong, again. Rest assured things will go wrong, again.

Lastly, try to do a lot of the good stuff, the stuff you like, and do that stuff all the time. Doing the stuff you like will certainly go a long way towards not always being so serious.

Thank you,

Stop The Drama (Day 22) by David Guerra

Day 22 of 100 Days of 100 Ways To Rule Your World

STOP THE DRAMA

It’s bad enough that our work days are filled with drama and depending on who we let into our lives the evenings can have just as much drama. Think about this: What does all that drama do to you?

Certainly, it does nothing good for you.

So stop creating your own drama and stop accepting drama from others as something that is “normal” and “expected”.

Once you stop creating or accepting drama you will start to see the world in a different way. Different in that what were small problems are no longer the things that bring your day to a grinding halt. Different in that you will start to feel less nervous about being around those people that drama is their middle name. Different in that you can start to live a more calm and relaxed life.

Note: if others find that they don’t want to respect you and your “no drama” policy then it is obviously time to find new people to hang out with.

Remember: YOU are who you hang out with.

Thank you,
