TAKE FULL RESPONSIBILITY

Unquestionable Rule for Life #1

As time goes by, today becomes tomorrow. Tomorrow is today and eventually it all becomes a big blur. During all the blur, decisions are made, actions are taken, and the outcomes are not always what we expect them to be. No matter what all that helps shape who we are and who we will become. Others will take credit for the good we do but give us 100% of the blame when we do something that, in their eyes, is wrong.

Good or bad, right or wrong there we are right in the middle of it. Being in the middle affords us one huge opportunity that far too many will never dare take. This opportunity will beat them to the punch. If played constantly, effectively, and quickly will leave others wondering how you did what you did but still came out on top?

This opportunity is simple: Own Your Actions, Choices, and Outcomes.

Yes, OWN IT! Own it all. Take ownership of all you do, say, think, don’t do, don’t say, and don’t think. That’s it.

Now, you may ask yourself, “if it is so easy why doesn’t everyone do it?”

Simple: They worry about what others think instead just believing in themselves. They give away their power, instead of keeping it and becoming a stronger individual. They give away their power because they are completely satisfied being the victim.

Playing the victim has gotten them to where they are right now and they are comfortable. They are so far in their existence that to actually consider changing would be such a foreign concept they would rather fight you. They would throw hands with you for fear of giving up their place in the spotlight. Sadly, the spotlight they shine in comes in the form of a very sad, very tired, stale story they continue to repeat to whomever will bend an ear.

Owning their actions, choices, and decisions is never going to happen. To them, they are doing right. Doing right to those that would drop them, step on them, and move on without ever batting and eye.

However, when you take full responsibility for yourself, you get your power back. You grow. You change. You change for the better. You change because you are working to reach a higher level of existing in a world called REALITY.

When you start taking responsibility for yourself, you are only accountable to yourself.

When you take responsibility for yourself, you do not bother considering what the “neighbors” will think or say.

Taking responsibility for yourself will leads to others reaching a point in their lives where they will want to change. They will want to change because they saw your transformation from victim to the Ruler of who you are.

Your ability to take responsibility for your life is something that must be achieved. Especially, if you want to be someone who can be trusted, looked up to, and ultimately others will want to follow.

Where there is no doubt in anyone’s mind that you can be counted on to step up and accept responsibility for your actions. It is then you have gained the upper hand against those who would rather lay blame at your feet. They can only blame you because their inadequacies, shortcomings, and their inability to lead themselves will not allow anything else.

Now when it comes to taking responsibility for your actions, decisions, and consequences there is one non-negotiable you can never ignore: No Excuses!

Ever!
