Welcome to The Daily Journal Project.
In this corner of the Internet, I am sharing with you some tools, tips and insights to get you started your very own Daily Journal Entry.
If you are here because of a post on my Instagram or Facebook page, thanks for visiting. Be sure to come back often, especially when you need a little inspiration. But before you leave please read the rest of what I have to share for you.
On Friday, October 11, 2024, I created this new Daily Journal Project page. I continue to add content and soon this Project will have a life of its own. Just like any Daily Journal, I will do updates to this page even if nothing major is added.
Right now, I am looking for a suitable and proper app to incorporate to this WordPress platform that will allow me to share with you my Journal entries. But until then, I am going to rough it and post on one of the side pages, right here on my website.

“DAILY JOURNAL ENTRY IS MORE THAN JUST DOCUMENTING YOUR LIFE. IT IS ABOUT TELLING THE FUTURE WHO YOU ARE AND WHERE YOU COME FROM.”
-David G. Guerra, MA, MBA
WHY DAILY JOURNAL WRITING?
As life is dynamic. It shifts. It moves. It is fluid and It surprises the need to write down those experiences is priceless. Daily Journal writing is the vehicle by which we put our feelings, emotions, senses, and experiences in writing and once written they are there forever. They are a permanent record of our lives. The permanent record that we can use to reflect upon to build our success, to avoid making the same mistake twice, and to most certainly make better mistakes in the future. To our legacy, daily journal writing serves as a blueprint to our day-to-day successes or as a cautionary tale. No matter what, daily journal entry is more than just documenting your life. It is about telling the future who you are and where you come from, especially the future you.
Everyone: I am passionate about daily journal entry. Living in this era, it is important to ensure we are doing what we can to remember who we are and what we have lived through, as well as looking forward to the future. However, as the future is unwritten, it behooves all of us to write and document our past as we see it and how we lived it. This is not only in the hopes that our legacy will understand us but that what we write today ensures that we do NOT repeat it in the future.
Teachers: I have not forgotten about you. I will be posting info on how to get your copy of some free writing prompts, my how to guide and so much more to help you get your students on the right path to doing daily journal entries. Also, please consider joining my Patreon where I have downloads, daily prompts (monthly releases), lesson plans, a podcast, and some videos.
Students: Of course, there will be content made just for you. The content I will share will be relevant to your grade level ensuring that the material I share with you will, hopefully, keep you engaged and journaling for a long time to come.
Thank you for stopping by.
Dave
