READ “ART OF PEACE” BY MORIHEI UESHIBA (Day 58) by David Guerra

Day 58 of 100 Days of 100 Ways To Rule Your World

READ “ART OF PEACE” BY MORIHEI UESHIBA

Pacifist…Antagonist…Liberal…Conservative…Soldier…Civilian… It doesn’t matter, just read “Art of Peace” by Morihei Ueshiba.

This book is NOT the opposite of Sun Tzu’s Art of War. Quite the contrary, it complements Sun Tzu. By the same token, Art of War complements Art of Peace. Though written many years apart they go well together. They are the perfect example of the “Yin” and the “Yang” in their ability to co-exist in way that the balance that Art of Peace and Art of War bring to the individual is something that cannot be explained but it can be experienced.

The Art of Peace deals with our inner conflicts and how to resolve them. How to live with a new, refined you. If change is what you truly seek, then this book is another to include in your library of growth and change.

 The following is an excerpt:
“The Art of Peace begins with you. Work on yourself and your appointed task in the Art of Peace. Everyone has a spirit that can be refined, a body that can be trained in some manner, a suitable path to follow. You are here for no other purpose than to realize your inner divinity and manifest your innate enlightenment. Foster peace in your own life and then apply the Art to all that you encounter.”

Thank you,
David Guerra

STOP PROCRASTINATING (Day 57) by David Guerra

Day 57 of 100 Days of 100 Ways To Rule Your World

STOP PROCRASTINATING

Don’t you think it’s about time you stopped procrastinating?

I know it is for me!!! We can talk about no longer procrastinating but we’ll get around to it later. Yeah, the ONLY way to stop procrastinating is to STOP <—– COLD TURKEY

The same way we say to ourselves “Oh, I need to go on a diet” and “Oh, I need to lose a few pounds” and “Oh, I need to start exercising” then nothing gets done about it.

Think about it this way. You have no problem quickly assessing and determining what you “need” to do. You are already halfway there (Yes, you are).

Now take it to the next level (one step at a time) and before you know you will be getting more stuff done and have more time to do other stuff and in the end you will be more organized with all your stuff.

Thank you,
David Guerra

Day 56 of 100 Days of 100 Ways To Rule Your World

READ “ART OF WAR” BY SUN TZU

Pacifist…Antagonist…Liberal…Conservative…Soldier…Civilian… It doesn’t matter, read “Art of War” by Sun Tzu. This book has been read all over the world, by a wide variety of people. Of course, you don’t have to be studying war to read this book. The Art of War has “had an influence on Eastern and Western military thinking, business tactics, legal strategy and beyond” thus making this book suitable for just about anyone.

The following excerpt best describes why the Art of War is important:
“Sun Tzu said: The art of war is of vital importance to the State. It is a matter of life and death, a road either to safety or to ruin. Hence it is a subject of inquiry which can on no account be neglected. The art of war, then, is governed by five constant factors, to be taken into account in one’s deliberations, when seeking to determine the conditions obtaining in the field. These are: The Moral Law; Heaven; Earth; The Commander; Method and discipline.”
