BE FRUGAL? (Day 83) by David Guerra

Day 83 of 100 Days of 100 Ways To Rule Your World

BE FRUGAL?

OK, maybe not too frugal. Learn to be frugal enough in that you are actually saving money. With the increasing cost of food, fuel, and home it can be a little difficult to be frugal. However, with a little work and knowing how and where to look you can find savings in just about any place you look or shop.

Now, don’t let the economy dictate what you buy and how much you spend for what you buy. There are plenty of fantastic resources out on the internet that are there to help you. I personally could not live without checking, at least once a day, GASBUDDY.COM.

Gasbuddy.com is truly one of those true social media apps in where all its participants to contribute up-to-date gasoline pricing information, then again I drive a little more often than the regular Joe and the need to find the lowest prices is greater for me, who am I kidding the need is greater for everyone. Then again, I couldn’t tell you if $1.39 for a pound of cucumbers is a good deal but I do know ears of corn selling at six for a dollar is a very good deal.

Also, don’t consider yourself as “cheap” or a “cheapskate”. Remember in these modern times the person who can make the dollar go the farthest is truly the real winner!

Now Go Out There and Save Some Money!

Thank you,
David Guerra

LEARN HOW TO INVEST IN STOCKS, BONDS, ETFs, and MUTUAL FUNDS (Day 82) by David Guerra

Day 82 of 100 Days of 100 Ways To Rule Your World

LEARN HOW TO INVEST IN STOCKS, BONDS, ETFs, and MUTUAL FUNDS

Money, Money, Money…..Money!!! (You know how the song works)

Everybody wants it…Everybody needs it….NOT Everybody knows how it really works.

Even in 2013, most people still think that the only way to make money is what you get in exchange for working for 40 hours a week.

There are however, plenty of other ways to make money. They can start their own business. Sell a valuable collection. Start a collection. There is one other more popular way: Invest in a business.

You can outright give money to a local business to pay for a service, buy product, pay bills, pay employees or you can buy stocks in a company to do the aforementioned.

Both options give you an opportunity to be part of something. However, with the latter you also have an opportunity to get paid for your investment by the way of dividends paid per share (stock) you own. You can also sell those shares when the value goes up for a nice healthy profit, then again the value can also drop (a little or a lot).

With a little education you can soon be mastering when to buy (low) and when to sell (high). Also, don’t think that investing in stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and ETFs are only for the rich or those with business degrees. While it may help the cost of entry, the cost of getting yourself educated (at least on the terms), and the cost of getting out has come down so much that anyone can do it.

What I am saying is: Even if you don’t have a lot of money you can still learn how to invest in the stock markets.

Thank you,
David Guerra

JOIN YOUR PROFESSION’S PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATION (Day 81) by David Guerra

Day 70 of 100 Days of 100 Ways To Rule Your World

JOIN YOUR PROFESSION’S PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATION

Plumbers have them….

Teachers have them….

Computer Guys have them….

You should join them…

Join your profession’s professional association.

This by far is the best way to network with others in your field of work. Of course, if you are a teacher then the easiest way to network is in the school you work at (schools are full of teachers). However, it may be more difficult if you are the only Computer Guy in the school.

Head on over to Google and find the association or organization that best fits your current or (if still in school) future profession and sign up. For Fun, For Professional Advancement, and For Networking Opportunities it doesn’t matter…what does matter is that you are GENUINE with your intentions!

Thank you,
