Whether you are the team leader or a team member, together the team either succeeds or fails. The unit works together to accomplish a common goal. That goal is the culmination of the mission, vision and intent of the leadership, the management and the stakeholders that brought that team together.
By ensuring that all members of the team use commitment, dedication, and guidance through the inspiration and motivation of the leader the team will succeed. The success or failure belongs to the team. The responsibility or accepting the blame is different. That solely belongs to the leader in that their intentions were not fully understood. When the leader’s inten is not understood then failure is sure to follow.
Don’t forget to CREATE WIN-WIN situations in all that you do. Start Strong! Stay Strong! Finish Strong! Be Strong!
