Set aside 1 hour and 44 minutes and watch this great video about someone who was facing the end and looks back with amazement, grace, and thanks. He also looks forward to the future no matter what happens.

If you want to get past the introductions then fast forward over to the 8 minute and 20 second point and that is when Professor Randy Pausch enters the stage.

Listen…Learn…Grow…Enjoy!!!

Let Them See You Happy (Day 26) by David Guerra

Day 26 of 100 Days of 100 Ways To Rule Your World

LET THEM SEE YOU HAPPY

Let Your Smile Show. Let the world know you are HAPPY. Whether you are happy or not, just make an effort to put a smile on and be HAPPY.

If you try to fake a smile and a happy attitude, it won’t last for long because eventually a fake smile and fake happiness will convert to a Genuine Smile and Genuine Happiness. Don’t believe me, give it a try.

Every day, go all out to keep a smile on your face, no matter what. Keep up with the attitude of Happiness.
Soon, you won’t even give it a second thought because the smile and happiness will just come naturally and stay with you for all the days of your life.

Thank you,
David Guerra

Meditate (Day 25) by David Guerra

Day 25 of 100 Days of 100 Ways To Rule Your World

MEDITATE

A couple of pages ago, I talked about how moving at 100mph is the new normal. I talked about not being so serious so often. Something that you can do to help bring you back to a more normal pace.

MEDITATE! Meditate EVERYDAY!

Not sure how to meditate. Try the following:

  1. Set some time aside for yourself.
  2. Set no less than 30 minutes aside.
  3. Set the TV to OFF.
  4. Set the cell phone to OFF.
  5. Set the PC/Laptop/iPad to OFF.
  6. Set the rest of humans in your life to OFF.
  7. Find a comfortable place to sit.
  8. Make certain that you have as much silence as possible.

Now you are ready to begin. First, concentrate on your breathing and get it into a rhythm that is both deep and calming. Then start to consciously relax your body from your head down to your neck to your arms, hands then down you back and front. Continue down your legs all the way to the tips of your toes. Now that you are relaxed, begin to clear your mind.

Empty your mind of all your worries, fears, doubts, joys, and everything else that accompanies your day-to-day life. This may be difficult at first, you may want to throw in the towel and call this meditation “mumbo jumbo” a lot of nonsense but don’t give up. It will get easier as you go along.

Work at clearing your mind and before you know it you will start to revel in the fact that during that time you will be clear-headed and stress and anxiety will start to leave your life. You will feel better even after just one time. Imagine how much better you will feel when Meditation becomes a habit.

Thank you,
David Guerra
