SEE THE WORLD THROUGH THE EYES OF A CHILD (Day 92) by David Guerra

Day 92 of 100 Days of 100 Ways To Rule Your World

SEE THE WORLD THROUGH THE EYES OF A CHILD

Ever see the world through the EYES OF A CHILD?

Many of us were kids once. Many of us still remember seeing the world as a wonderful and amazing place. I still remember the first time I saw the Washington, D.C. from the observation deck of the Washington Monument. I was all of 10 years old.

Then fast forward to my early 30s when I saw St. Louis from the observation deck of The Gateway Arch. I distinctly remember NOT having the same feeling. All I remember was the top of the Arch swaying. All the while thinking this thing is going to snap off and we are going to fall to our end. Luckily, it wasn’t the case.

The point I am trying to make is that as a child we get to see the world as something AWESOME! As adults, we see the world a little tainted, a little skewed. Seeing the world with EYES WIDE OPEN enjoyment inspires us, adults, to see the world through their eyes. To see a flock of birds heading south for the Winter and know now a snow day or two is heading our way. Only then can you re-learn to appreciate the SIMPLE THINGS in life. 🙂

Thank you,
David Guerra
